Well put. A very nice tribute to Kent. It brought back a fresh/flood of memories. Ray Charles (Get Back Jack), the Supremes (Ain’t No Mountain High Enough), etc. His penchant for a good peanut butter and jelly sandwich (it had to be Skippy) and practical jokes (locking me out of the apartment in my underwear. And if that wasn’t enough he calls the Lawrence police, and with a straight face, convince them that he didn’t know me) and the list goes on and on. As you know, Kent had a way to make a person reach higher and higher. A true inspiration. But he was one helluva a fun guy to hang around with. The last time I saw Kent was when he visited my family up in Grand Rapids Michigan for a couple days in 88. I had regrettably lost touch with him after that. When I learned of his death, it hit me sudden and hard. I still can’t believe he’s passed. My prayers are with his family whom he adored so much.

So what is the payment plan? I suppose that given time the $400,000 can be paid off.

I was shocked to hear of his passing. He was certainly a fantastic face for freedom. He looked and apparently was genuine. I can eek out $20 this time around. Keep the fund going. I just found out today (14 July) and the more people hear, the more likely funds will trickle in.

Hello to everyone!
I really hope that we will be able to raise the requisite amount of money to aid Mr. Synder's family. Congressman Ron Paul gave me a fresh and exciting way to look at politics, for which I am truly grateful, and I hope to spend the rest of my life promoting this cause of limited government and individual liberty. And to think that Mr. Synder poured every ounce of his retreating energies to inspire Congressman Paul to run for President is truly humbling and we all owe his family our support for that. Had it not been for Mr. Snyder, many of us would never have known the exciting political positions Congressman Paul had to offer. Furthermore, nearly every time I attempt to persuade those around me to vote for Congressman Paul, they repeat the same argument, that without socialized medicine families would not be able to cover their medical costs. If we do not stand together now and show how grassroots charity can do more than any socialist health policy ever could, our message will sound very hollow!
